Checking Account:  This account, for the most part will remain around $500, after everything hits.

Emergency Fund:  -$450  I took some more money from my savings to buy another 4Runner for a parts truck.  After looking at it deeper, I may decide to fix it and add it as another vehicle.

TD Ameritrade Account:  +$298  Sweet, a little growth!!!

Simple IRA:  +$483 – The market stabilized slightly after the strange period at the end of December.

401(k):  +$1,132 – Normal additions with match plus slight growth.

Cars:  Nothing new here

Bank Visa:   Zero again

Overall  +$1,830 – Finally some normal growth after spending too much in December

Checking Account:  This account, for the most part will remain around $500, after everything hits.

Emergency Fund:  -$700  Duh, it’s December, so CHRISTMAS PRESENTS!!!  LOL, that wasn’t really why since I already budgeted Christmas presents, but I did spend a little more than I budgeted.  Also, I transferred some to my TD Ameritrade account and didn’t add much in here in December.

TD Ameritrade Account:  +$819  So I told myself if Ford ever hits $7.50, I’d buy more.  Well, it did, actually hitting $7.42.  BUT, I wasn’t ready for it.  I forgot to transfer money from my bank account when I saw it tracking down below $8.00.  I figured I missed it, but transferred $1,000 anyway and put my order in anyway.  It did hit $7.48 or so again, so my purchase at $7.50 went through when it did.  There you go – I said I was done buying for a while, but I couldn’t resist getting in more shares.

Simple IRA:  -$441 – The market was weird at the end of December (and still is) so my Simple IRA dropped slightly.  I’d like to transfer this account to Vanguard, but haven’t yet.

401(k):  +$81 – This is my work account and I contribute 5% with my company putting in 4%, but with the market dropping, I only show a slight increase.

Cars:  Nothing new here

Bank Visa:   +$367 – On 12/30, my daughter puppy-eyed me and asked if I could help her with an upcoming conference in NYC and she’d send the reimbursement check to me.

Overall  -$608 not a bad month considering spending a lot and putting some charges on my credit card.
